I didn’t find it to be a big deal because you spend majority of your time studying, being in school, doing community service so there isn’t much time for a lot of other things.I submitted my AACOMAS to about 5 schools (LECOM, VCOM, PCOM, NYIT) and was verified on Monday. I submitted with a truly meh MCAT (490), an average GPA (cGPA 3.6, sGPA 3.5), but do have over 1000+ hours of patient care experience working as an MA. It’s strange, because I was comparing last years booklet to this years! It was only mentioned in last years guideline underneath the ‘competing the application section’.
